I realize the tighter style is still around but my athletic legs make these look like a man in tights and they are a bit too tapered if a larger size.

A step up
I purchased a pair of these pants and also a pair of the Ponto performance pants. I love both. The Ponto pants are more to stay at home and be comfortable, while the Kore pants are also wildly comfortable but good to knock around town. These are great products.

A step up
I bought a pair of the Ponto pants and the Elevate core pants and they got it just right. The Ponto pants are great for around the house and working out, and the Elevate pants are great for going out around town but still being warm and comfortable. These products are superb.
