Really Blocks the Sun
This is not the most stylish hat I own, but it does a great job of blocking the sun. This may be due to the stiff rim.

A little too stiff
The brim is pretty stiff, so when I tilt my head back, it hits my back. Also, I don't have a very small head, but I have to tighten it so that extra material flaps out. The idea of the visor is great, but it just misses the mark for me.

Study, wide brim. Not packable
The hat has a wide brim and blocks lots of sun while being able to wear a bun. The brim feels sturdy. The circumference is secured with snap back while the brim is secured with velcro. I wish they showed a picture of the back, but I ordered with a leap of faith (and return policy). Can roll it up, but still isn’t super packable but perhaps that’s mutually exclusive with having a sturdy brim. And it doesn’t have a chin string to keep it from flying off your head in the wind.

Cute but not perfect
Although this hat is cute, it feels poorly made. The construction of this hat won’t allow it to be packed or stored where it could be smushed - even slightly. I’m still debating on whether or not I’ll keep it. It does serve its purpose of keeping face covered and allows a ponytail.

The best sun visor
I purchased this visor for a trip to Hawaii and I was a life saver for protecting my face and shoulders from the sun. Looked great relaxing on the beach , but also functional for more athletic endeavors. Highly recommend!
