Great short for everyday outdoor activities or lounging! Fabric is slightly thicker terry cloth. Very comfortable and not too high rise. I bought my usual size small.

Nice pair of shorts. I am shortwaisted and it is hard to find a short rise. These could be a little shorter in the rise for me but overall a pretty good fit.
