How We Define Vuori Preferred Fibers
Vuori developed our Fiber Guidelines to prioritize low-carbon materials when sourcing. Vuori’s Fiber Guidelines were created by referencing various independent Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and industry tools like the Higg MSI. Our standards include practices that seek to benefit the environment, promote regenerative farming, and align with industry-recognized certifications like Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Our Fiber Guidelines ranks fibers based on their carbon emissions from A – E. Vuori Impact Preferred Fibers are fibers that fall in the A-C category like recycled polyester, regenerative organic cotton and TENCEL™ Lyocell to name a few examples.
