Friday Fuel: Blended Overnight Snickers Oats
If you’re after a decadent brekkie on the run, try these snickers overnight oats. Blending the oat mixture gives the most delicious, creamy consistency. Feel free to halve the recipe to make 1 serving or else, just keep one in the fridge for the following day.
Blended snickers overnight oats
- 1 cup oats
- 1 1/2 cups almond milk
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1-2 tbsp maple syrup (based on desired sweetness)
- Pinch salt
'PB CARMEL' LAYER
- 2 tbsp smooth peanut butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 40g dark chocolate, melted
- 2 tbsp crushed peanuts
Place all ingredients for the oat layer in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and distribute evenly across 2 small bowls or mason jars. Place in the fridge. Meanwhile, mix together PB layer ingredients. Spread evenly over each bowl or jar, followed by the melted chocolate. Sprinkle with peanuts and refrigerate overnight.
